Homework!!

Centy asked us to predict the winning Hogwarts house for HSKS7 and the total points for each house for our homework! And here are my predictions!
I say it's Gryffindor for the win! And here's how the points break down:

Gryffindor
1050

Hufflepuff
750

Ravenclaw
850

Slytherin
950

We'll see what happens! And a big thank you to all my housemates for a wonderful swap!

new swap!

I'm excited to be doing another swap! It's a quick one this time, Reducio mini-sock swap! (Rav link)
I think it will be super fun! Some of my cohorts here at school are doing it too! I'll see you around Prendolyn the Weird, Allitrya Spelling, & Belladonna Boomslang! This should be fun!

A package!

An owl stopped by this afternoon! From one Waverly Trimble and it was delivering a lovely package!! There are 3 Harry Potter sock patterns from Socktopia (whoo hoo!), and the Gryffindor Pride Sock pattern that I've been coveting, a lovely red bag, a Harry Potter calendar with some grand photos, a cool needle inventory set, some Trendsetter yarn and some Mei Mei bamboo needles (size 13), some yummy almond milk soap, and an assortment of excellent treats!! I LOVE that chai Waverly! All in all a treat to end the day well. I'll be thinking of you when I have a cuppa later! Thank you!

Who would you be and why?

Centy posed an interesting question today for those of us just dying for some homework! ;) What a bunch of overachievers we are!! She asked us which HP character we'd be and why. I like to think that I'd make a good Tonks. She questions authority, has a wicked sense of humor and sees beauty in the unusual. Remus was one of my book crushes and so we share that too! I love her bravery and that she doesn't ever bow to convention be it fashion or her core values. I strive to be true to myself without compromise in my personal life and it causes me a bit of uncomfortableness at times. I wish everyone could be as accepting as Tonks and I hope that people see me as accepting of them in all their unusual beauty. And I actually LIKE the name Nymphadora! ;)
